Produktbeschreibung: PackageKit ist eine Sammlung von Tools und Bibliotheken, die die Installation, Aktualisierung und Entfernung von Software auf verschiedenen Linux-Distributionen vereinfacht.
Angriff: Ein lokaler Angreifer kann mehrere Schwachstellen in PackageKit ausnutzen, um Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zu umgehen, beliebige Befehle mit Root-Rechten auszuführen, seine Berechtigungen auf Root zu erweitern oder Daten offenzulegen und zu manipulieren.
