Summary
gi-docgen security update
Details

GI-DocGen is a document generator for GObject-based libraries. GObject is the base type system of the GNOME project. GI-Docgen reuses the introspection data generated by GObject-based libraries to generate the API reference of these libraries, as well as other ancillary documentation.

Security Fix(es):

A flaw was found in the gi-docgen. This vulnerability allows arbitrary JavaScript execution in the context of the page — enabling DOM access, session cookie theft and other client-side attacks — via a crafted URL that supplies a malicious value to the q GET parameter (reflected DOM XSS).(CVE-2025-11687)

Related by attack behaviour

Vulnerabilities whose description is nearest to this one in the vector space of the CIRCL/vulnerability-attack-technique-biencoder model. This is a similarity search over the bi-encoder space (plain cosine), not a classification, and it has no measured accuracy.
