Title
PyJWT: Malformed RSA JWK aborts parsing of an entire JWK Set
Summary
PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.9.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWKSet does not catch the plain ValueError raised for malformed RSA JWK components by RSAAlgorithm.from_jwk in jwt/api_jwk.py. This occurs when a JWK Set contains a malformed RSA key alongside otherwise usable keys. As a result, one malformed member aborts construction of the entire PyJWKSet. Consequently, applications can experience authentication failures or request-level denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.

Title
Hirschmann HiOS Switch Platform DoS via Malformed HTTP Request
Summary
Hirschmann HiOS Switch Platform devices contain a denial-of-service vulnerability in the integrated web server due to missing validation of HTTP(S) content. A remote unauthenticated attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP(S) request to a specific endpoint that is processed incorrectly, causing the device to perform an unintended reboot and resulting in a temporary denial-of-service condition. This vulnerability has been addressed in versions 07.1.12, 08.7.10, 09.0.13, 09.3.03, 10.3.08, and 10.5.00.

Title
Steeltoe.Discovery.Consul: malformed 'secure' metadata aborts service instance lookup (DoS)
Summary
Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.0, ConsulDiscoveryClient constructs ConsulServiceInstance objects by parsing each registration's secure metadata with a strict Boolean conversion. A principal that can register a Consul service can supply a secure value other than true or false, causing the exception from one instance to abort construction of the entire instance list and make the targeted service undiscoverable. When GetAllInstancesAsync enumerates all services, one malformed instance can abort enumeration across every service. The outage persists until the offending registration is removed. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

From 4.0.0 until 4.3.0, ConsulDiscoveryClient constructs ConsulServiceInstance objects by parsing each registration\u0027s secure metadata with a strict Boolean conversion. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0."

Title
Steeltoe.Discovery.Eureka: malformed enum/bool/timestamp field aborts entire registry fetch (DoS)
Summary
Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.0, EurekaDiscoveryClient deserializes the registry response as one unit, and an unrecognized actionType or status, a non-Boolean isCoordinatingDiscoveryServer, or a nonnumeric timestamp can abort the entire response. A principal that can register or update an instance can cause all connected Steeltoe clients to receive an empty or stale instance list until the malformed registration is removed. The JsonInstanceInfoConverter, BoolStringJsonConverter, and LongStringJsonConverter parsing paths are affected. This issue is distinct from the earlier DataCenterInfo.name parsing vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

Title
Suricata ftp: RETR/STOR before PORT/PASV can disable further IDS app-layer detection
Summary
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 8.0.6, the FTP parser in src/app-layer-ftp.c treats a RETR or STOR command sent before PORT or PASV negotiation as a fatal application-layer error instead of a recoverable protocol event. The fatal state disables FTP application-layer parsing for the remainder of the TCP flow, so later commands can evade parser-dependent rules and logging; IPS mode instead drops the flow. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6.

Title
CoreDNS `k8s_external` headless AXFR can emit an empty transfer batch that panics the `transfer` plugin
Summary
CoreDNS is a DNS server written in Go. From 1.9.4 until 1.14.5, a network DNS client allowed to request AXFR for a CoreDNS zone can trigger a panic when CoreDNS is configured with k8s_external headless-service zone transfers and Kubernetes contains a headless service endpoint with no declared ports; plugin/kubernetes/object/endpoint.go creates Port: -1, plugin/k8s_external/msg_to_dns.go skips that service, plugin/k8s_external/transfer.go sends an empty []dns.RR batch, and plugin/transfer/transfer.go indexes records[0] without checking the batch is non-empty. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.5.

Title
Valibot: record() issue paths can make flatten() throw for inherited Object property names
Summary
Valibot helps validate data using a schema. Versions prior to 1.4.2 can throw a TypeError inside its flatten() helper when validation issues contain attacker-controlled object keys such as toString, valueOf, or hasOwnProperty. The issue is reachable through normal record() validation. record() intentionally filters __proto__, prototype, and constructor, but it still accepts other own keys that collide with inherited Object.prototype properties. If the record key schema or value schema rejects such an entry, Valibot creates an issue path containing that key. Passing the resulting issues to Valibot's documented flatten() helper causes flatErrors.nested[dotPath] to resolve to the inherited method instead of an own error array, and the helper calls .push(...) on that function. This is not a global prototype pollution issue. The impact is availability/error handling: applications that validate user-controlled objects with record() and flatten validation errors for API responses can crash the request path with a TypeError instead of returning structured validation errors. This issue has been fixed in version 1.4.2.
