&lt;p&gt;Affected versions of this crate pre-allocate memory on deserializing raw buffers without checking whether there is sufficient data available. This allows an attacker to do denial-of-service attacks by sending small msgpack messages that allocate gigabytes of memory.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
