      <description>&lt;p&gt;The Newsletters Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the &amp;#39;target&amp;#39; attribute of the [newsletters_post] shortcode in versions up to and including 4.15. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the posts_single() function which propagates the attacker-controlled &amp;#39;target&amp;#39; attribute into the global $wpml_target, and in the shortcode_posts() &amp;#39;post_thumbnail&amp;#39; handler which concatenates $wpml_target into a target=&amp;#34;...&amp;#34; HTML attribute without esc_attr(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
