block, bfq: fix bfqq uaf in bfq_limit_depth()

Set new allocated bfqq to bic or remove freed bfqq from bic are both

sshd in OpenSSH 6.2 through 8.x before 8.8, when certain non-default configurations are used, allows privilege escalation because supplemental groups are not initialized as expected. Helper programs for AuthorizedKeysCommand and AuthorizedPrincipalsCommand may run with privileges associated with group memberships of the sshd process, if the configuration specifies running the command as a different user. A flaw was found in glibc. When the getaddrinfo function is called with the AF_UNSPEC address family and the system is configured with no-aaaa mode via /etc/resolv.conf, a DNS response via TCP larger than 2048 bytes can potentially disclose stack contents through the function returned address data, and may cause a crash. A flaw was found in glibc. In an extremely rare situation, the getaddrinfo function may access memory that has been freed, resulting in an application crash. This issue is only exploitable when a NSS module implements only the _nss_*_gethostbyname2_r and _nss_*_getcanonname_r hooks without implementing the _nss_*_gethostbyname3_r hook. The resolved name should return a large number of IPv6 and IPv4, and the call to the getaddrinfo function should have the AF_INET6 address family with AI_CANONNAME, AI_ALL and AI_V4MAPPED as flags. A buffer overflow was discovered in the GNU C Library's dynamic loader ld.so while processing the GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variable.

Affected: openEuler:24.03-LTS: kernel

The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.

Security Fix(es):

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ksmbd: fix potencial out-of-bounds when buffer offset is invalid

I found potencial out-of-bounds when buffer offset fields of a few requests
is invalid. This patch set the minimum value of buffer offset field to

ksmbd: fix slab-out-of-bounds in smb_strndup_from_utf16()

If ->NameOffset of smb2_create_req is smaller than Buffer offset of
smb2_create_req, slab-out-of-bounds read can happen from smb2_open.
This patch set the minimum value of the name offset to the buffer offset
to validate name length of smb2_create_req().(CVE-2024-26954)

The current implementation of the fpga bridge assumes that the low-level
module registers a driver for the parent device and uses its owner pointer
to take the module's refcount. This approach is problematic since it can
lead to a null pointer dereference while attempting to get the bridge if
the parent device does not have a driver.

SSA-082556 — SSA-082556: Vulnerabilities in the additional GNU/Linux subsystem of the SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU 1518(F)-4 PN/DP MFP V3.1.5

Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in the additional GNU/Linux subsystem of the firmware version V3.1.5 for the SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU 1518(F)-4 PN/DP MFP (incl. SIPLUS variant).

Siemens has released new versions for several affected products and recommends to update to the latest versions. Siemens is preparing further fix versions and recommends specific countermeasures for products where fixes are not, or not yet available.

Note: This SSA advises vulnerabilities for firmware version V3.1.5 only; for version V3.1.6 refer to SSA-019113.

Affected: Ubuntu:16.04:LTS: linux-hwe-edge, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-aws-5.0, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-aws-5.3, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-azure, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-azure-5.3, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-azure-edge, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gcp, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gcp-5.3, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gke-4.15, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gke-5.4 and 104 more

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block, bfq: fix bfqq uaf in bfq_limit_depth() Set new allocated bfqq to bic or remove freed bfqq from bic are both protected by bfqd->lock, however bfq_limit_depth() is deferencing bfqq from bic without the lock, this can lead to UAF if the io_context is shared by multiple tasks. For example, test bfq with io_uring can trigger following UAF in v6.6: ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in bfqq_group+0x15/0x50 Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x47/0x80 print_address_description.constprop.0+0x66/0x300 print_report+0x3e/0x70 kasan_report+0xb4/0xf0 bfqq_group+0x15/0x50 bfqq_request_over_limit+0x130/0x9a0 bfq_limit_depth+0x1b5/0x480 __blk_mq_alloc_requests+0x2b5/0xa00 blk_mq_get_new_requests+0x11d/0x1d0 blk_mq_submit_bio+0x286/0xb00 submit_bio_noacct_nocheck+0x331/0x400 __block_write_full_folio+0x3d0/0x640 writepage_cb+0x3b/0xc0 write_cache_pages+0x254/0x6c0 write_cache_pages+0x254/0x6c0 do_writepages+0x192/0x310 filemap_fdatawrite_wbc+0x95/0xc0 __filemap_fdatawrite_range+0x99/0xd0 filemap_write_and_wait_range.part.0+0x4d/0xa0 blkdev_read_iter+0xef/0x1e0 io_read+0x1b6/0x8a0 io_issue_sqe+0x87/0x300 io_wq_submit_work+0xeb/0x390 io_worker_handle_work+0x24d/0x550 io_wq_worker+0x27f/0x6c0 ret_from_fork_asm+0x1b/0x30 </TASK> Allocated by task 808602: kasan_save_stack+0x1e/0x40 kasan_set_track+0x21/0x30 __kasan_slab_alloc+0x83/…
