      <title>cisco-sa-webuiapi-inj-Nyrq92Od — Cisco IOS XE Software Web UI API Injection Vulnerability</title>
      <link>https://cve.radiocsirt.org/vuln/cisco-sa-webuiapi-inj-nyrq92od</link>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;A vulnerability in the web UI feature of Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to perform an injection attack against an affected device.&#13;
&#13;
This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted input to the web UI API. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to inject commands to the underlying operating system with root privileges.&#13;
&#13;
Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.&#13;
&#13;
&#13;
&#13;
This advisory is part of the April 2022 release of the Cisco IOS and IOS XE Software Security Advisory Bundled Publication. For a complete list of the advisories and links to them, see Cisco Event Response: April 2022 Semiannual Cisco IOS and IOS XE Software Security Advisory Bundled Publication.
