CVE-2017-2625

Affected: Xorg libXdmcp

It was discovered that libXdmcp before 1.1.2 including used weak entropy to generate session keys. On a multi-user system using xdmcp, a local attacker could potentially use information available from the process list to brute force the key, allowing them to hijack other users' sessions.

USN-5690-1 — libxdmcp vulnerability

Affected: Ubuntu:Pro:14.04:LTS: libxdmcp, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: libxdmcp

It was discovered that libXdmcp was generating weak session keys.
A local attacker could possibly use this issue to perform a brute
force attack and obtain another user's key.
