OESA-2026-2581 — kernel security update

Affected: openEuler:24.03-LTS-SP1: kernel

The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.

Security Fix(es):

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net: mvpp2: Prevent parser TCAM memory corruption

Protect the parser TCAM/SRAM memory, and the cached (shadow) SRAM
information, from concurrent modifications.

Both the TCAM and SRAM tables are indirectly accessed by configuring
an index register that selects the row to read or write to. This means
that operations must be atomic in order to, e.g., avoid spreading
writes across multiple rows. Since the shadow SRAM array is used to
find free rows in the hardware table, it must also be protected in
order to avoid TOCTOU errors where multiple cores allocate the same
row.

This issue was detected in a situation where `mvpp2_set_rx_mode()` ran
concurrently on two CPUs. In this particular case the
MVPP2_PE_MAC_UC_PROMISCUOUS entry was corrupted, causing the
classifier unit to drop all incoming unicast - indicated by the
`rx_classifier_drops` counter.(CVE-2025-22060)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

mptcp: fix NULL pointer in can_accept_new_subflow

When testing valkey benchmark tool with MPTCP, the kernel panics in
'mptcp_can_accept_new_subflow' because subflow_req->msk is NULL.

Affected: Ubuntu:16.04:LTS: linux-hwe-edge, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-aws-5.0, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-aws-5.3, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-azure, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-azure-5.3, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-azure-edge, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gcp, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gcp-5.3, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gke-4.15, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gke-5.4 and 179 more

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: fix use-after-free in update_super_work when racing with umount Commit b98535d09179 ("ext4: fix bug_on in start_this_handle during umount filesystem") moved ext4_unregister_sysfs() before flushing s_sb_upd_work to prevent new error work from being queued via /proc/fs/ext4/xx/mb_groups reads during unmount. However, this introduced a use-after-free because update_super_work calls ext4_notify_error_sysfs() -> sysfs_notify() which accesses the kobject's kernfs_node after it has been freed by kobject_del() in ext4_unregister_sysfs(): update_super_work ext4_put_super ----------------- -------------- ext4_unregister_sysfs(sb) kobject_del(&sbi->s_kobj) __kobject_del() sysfs_remove_dir() kobj->sd = NULL sysfs_put(sd) kernfs_put() // RCU free ext4_notify_error_sysfs(sbi) sysfs_notify(&sbi->s_kobj) kn = kobj->sd // stale pointer kernfs_get(kn) // UAF on freed kernfs_node ext4_journal_destroy() flush_work(&sbi->s_sb_upd_work) Instead of reordering the teardown sequence, fix this by making ext…
