      <title>cisco-sa-asaftd-vpn-dos-SpOFF2Re — Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance and Secure Firewall Threat Defense Software VPN Web Server Denial of…</title>
      <link>https://cve.radiocsirt.org/vuln/cisco-sa-asaftd-vpn-dos-spoff2re</link>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;A vulnerability in the VPN web server of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device.&#13;
&#13;
This vulnerability is due to ineffective memory management of the VPN web server. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a large number of crafted HTTP requests to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition.&#13;
&#13;
Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.&#13;
&#13;
&#13;
&#13;
This advisory is part of the March 2026 release of the Cisco Secure Firewall ASA, Secure FMC, and Secure FTD Software Security Advisory Bundled Publication. For a complete list of the advisories and links to them, see Cisco Event Response: March 2026 Semiannual Cisco Secure Firewall ASA, Secure FMC, and Secure FTD Software Security Advisory Bundled Publication [&amp;#34;https://sec.cloudapps.cisco.com/security/center/viewErp.x?alertId=ERP-75736&amp;#34;].&lt;/p&gt;</description>
