In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

smb: client: fix wrong index reference in smb2_compound_op()

In smb2_compound_op(), the loop that processes each command's response
uses wrong indices when accessing response bufferes.

This incorrect indexing leads to improper handling of command results.
Also, if incorrectly computed index is greather than or equal to
MAX_COMPOUND, it can cause out-of-bounds accesses.

OESA-2025-2656 — kernel security update

Affected: openEuler:24.03-LTS: kernel

The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.

Security Fix(es):

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

spufs: fix a leak on spufs_new_file() failure

It's called from spufs_fill_dir(), and caller of that will do
spufs_rmdir() in case of failure. That does remove everything
we'd managed to create, but... the problem dentry is still
negative. IOW, it needs to be explicitly dropped.(CVE-2025-22073)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

i2c: cros-ec-tunnel: defer probe if parent EC is not present

When i2c-cros-ec-tunnel and the EC driver are built-in, the EC parent
device will not be found, leading to NULL pointer dereference.

That can also be reproduced by unbinding the controller driver and then
loading i2c-cros-ec-tunnel module (or binding the device).
