In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

wifi: brcmfmac: Check the return value of of_property_read_string_index()

Somewhen between 6.10 and 6.11 the driver started to crash on my
MacBookPro14,3. The property doesn't exist and 'tmp' remains
uninitialized, so we pass a random pointer to devm_kstrdup().

The crash I am getting looks like this:

OESA-2025-1320 — kernel security update

Affected: openEuler:24.03-LTS: kernel

The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.

Security Fix(es):

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

RDMA/rtrs: Ensure 'ib_sge list' is accessible

Move the declaration of the 'ib_sge list' variable outside the
'always_invalidate' block to ensure it remains accessible for use
throughout the function.

Previously, 'ib_sge list' was declared within the 'always_invalidate'
block, limiting its accessibility, then caused a
'BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference'[1].

The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.

Security Fix(es):

Affected: Ubuntu:Pro:14.04:LTS: linux, Ubuntu:Pro:14.04:LTS: linux-aws, Ubuntu:Pro:14.04:LTS: linux-azure, Ubuntu:Pro:14.04:LTS: linux-lts-xenial, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux-aws, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux-aws-hwe, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux-azure, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux-gcp, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux-hwe and 198 more

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: Check the return value of of_property_read_string_index() Somewhen between 6.10 and 6.11 the driver started to crash on my MacBookPro14,3. The property doesn't exist and 'tmp' remains uninitialized, so we pass a random pointer to devm_kstrdup().
