Affected: openEuler:24.03-LTS-SP1: kernel

The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.

Security Fix(es):

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ksmbd: fix potencial out-of-bounds when buffer offset is invalid

I found potencial out-of-bounds when buffer offset fields of a few requests
is invalid. This patch set the minimum value of buffer offset field to
->Buffer offset to validate buffer length.(CVE-2024-26952)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ksmbd: fix slab-out-of-bounds in smb_strndup_from_utf16()

If ->NameOffset of smb2_create_req is smaller than Buffer offset of
smb2_create_req, slab-out-of-bounds read can happen from smb2_open.
This patch set the minimum value of the name offset to the buffer offset
to validate name length of smb2_create_req().(CVE-2024-26954)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

Alexander Sverdlin presents 2 problems during shutdown with the
lan9303 driver. One is specific to lan9303 and the other just happens
to reproduce there.

The first problem is that lan9303 is unique among DSA drivers in that it
calls dev_get_drvdata() at "arbitrary runtime" (not probe, not shutdown,

UBUNTU-CVE-2024-53119

Affected: Ubuntu:16.04:LTS: linux-hwe-edge, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-aws-5.0, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-aws-5.3, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-azure, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-azure-5.3, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-azure-edge, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gcp, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gcp-5.3, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gke-4.15, Ubuntu:18.04:LTS: linux-gke-5.4 and 140 more

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio/vsock: Fix accept_queue memory leak As the final stages of socket destruction may be delayed, it is possible that virtio_transport_recv_listen() will be called after the accept_queue has been flushed, but before the SOCK_DONE flag has been set. As a result, sockets enqueued after the flush would remain unremoved, leading to a memory leak. vsock_release __vsock_release lock virtio_transport_release virtio_transport_close schedule_delayed_work(close_work) sk_shutdown = SHUTDOWN_MASK (!) flush accept_queue release virtio_transport_recv_pkt vsock_find_bound_socket lock if flag(SOCK_DONE) return virtio_transport_recv_listen child = vsock_create_connected (!) vsock_enqueue_accept(child) release close_work lock virtio_transport_do_close set_flag(SOCK_DONE) virtio_transport_remove_sock vsock_remove_sock vsock_remove_bound release Introduce a sk_shutdown check to disallow vsock_enqueue_accept() during socket destruction. unreferenced object 0xffff888109e3f800 (size 2040): comm "kworker/5:2", pid 371, jiffies 4294940105…
