In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

iommu: Return right value in iommu_sva_bind_device()

iommu_sva_bind_device() should return either a sva bond handle or an
ERR_PTR value in error cases. Existing drivers (idxd and uacce) only
check the return value with IS_ERR(). This could potentially lead to
a kernel NULL pointer dereference issue if the function returns NULL
instead of an error pointer.

In reality, this doesn't cause any problems because iommu_sva_bind_device()
only returns NULL when the kernel is not configured with CONFIG_IOMMU_SVA.
In this case, iommu_dev_enable_feature(dev, IOMMU_DEV_FEAT_SVA) will
return an error, and the device drivers won't call iommu_sva_bind_device()
at all.

An out-of-bounds (OOB) memory write flaw was found in the NFSD in the Linux kernel. Missing sanity may lead to a write beyond bmval[bmlen-1] in nfsd4_decode_bitmap4 in fs/nfsd/nfs4xdr.c. In this flaw, a local attacker with user privilege may gain access to out-of-bounds memory, leading to a system integrity and confidentiality threat. fs/nfsd/trace.h in the Linux kernel before 5.13.4 might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read in strlen) by sending NFS traffic when the trace event framework is being used for nfsd. SUNRPC: null pointer dereference in svc_rqst_free(). When alloc_pages_node() returns null in svc_rqst_alloc(), the null rq_scratch_page pointer will be dereferenced when calling put_page() in svc_rqst_free(). NFSD: READDIR buffer overflow. If a client sends a READDIR count argument that is too small (say, zero), then the buffer size calculation in the new init_dirlist helper functions results in an underflow, allowing the XDR stream functions to write beyond the actual buffer. This calculation has always been suspect. NFSD has never sanity- checked the READDIR count argument, but the old entry encoders managed the problem correctly. With the commits below, entry encoding changed, exposing the underflow to the pointer arithmetic in xdr_reserve_space(). Modern NFS clients attempt to retrieve as much data as possible for each READDIR request. nfsd: NULL dereference in nfs3svc_encode_getaclres.
OESA-2024-1941 — kernel security update

Affected: openEuler:22.03-LTS-SP1: kernel

The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.

Security Fix(es):

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

clk: sunxi-ng: Unregister clocks/resets when unbinding

Currently, unbinding a CCU driver unmaps the device's MMIO region, while
leaving its clocks/resets and their providers registered. This can cause
a page fault later when some clock operation tries to perform MMIO. Fix
this by separating the CCU initialization from the memory allocation,
and then using a devres callback to unregister the clocks and resets.

This also fixes a memory leak of the `struct ccu_reset`, and uses the
correct owner (the specific platform driver) for the clocks and resets.

Early OF clock providers are never unregistered, and limited error
handling is possible, so they are mostly unchanged. The error reporting
is made more consistent by moving the message inside of_sunxi_ccu_probe.(CVE-2021-47205)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

thermal/int340x_thermal: handle data_vault when the value is ZERO_SIZE_PTR

In some case, the GDDV returns a package with a buffer which has
zero length. It causes that kmemdup() returns ZERO_SIZE_PTR (0x10).

Then the data_vault_read() got NULL point dereference problem when
accessing the 0x10 value in data_vault.

[ 71.024560] BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address:
