In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

ravb: Fix use-after-free issue in ravb_tx_timeout_work()

The ravb_stop() should call cancel_work_sync(). Otherwise,
ravb_tx_timeout_work() is possible to use the freed priv after
ravb_remove() was called like below:

CPU0 CPU1
 ravb_tx_timeout()
ravb_remove()
unregister_netdev()
free_netdev(ndev)
// free priv
 ravb_tx_timeout_work()
 // use priv

called. And, after phy_stop() is called, netif_carrier_off()
is also called. So that .ndo_tx_timeout() will not be called

In gc_data_segment in fs/f2fs/gc.c in the Linux kernel before 5.16.3, special files are not considered, leading to a move_data_page NULL pointer dereference. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

media: dvbdev: Fix memory leak in dvb_media_device_free()

dvb_media_device_free() is leaking memory. Free `dvbdev->adapter->conn`
before setting it to NULL, as documented in include/media/media-device.h:
"The media_entity instance itself must be freed explicitly by the driver
if required."(CVE-2020-36777)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

i2c: sprd: fix reference leak when pm_runtime_get_sync fails

The PM reference count is not expected to be incremented on
return in sprd_i2c_master_xfer() and sprd_i2c_remove().

However, pm_runtime_get_sync will increment the PM reference
count even failed. Forgetting to putting operation will result
in a reference leak here.

Replace it with pm_runtime_resume_and_get to keep usage
counter balanced.(CVE-2020-36780)

UBUNTU-CVE-2023-52509

Affected: Ubuntu:Pro:14.04:LTS: linux-aws, Ubuntu:Pro:14.04:LTS: linux-azure, Ubuntu:Pro:14.04:LTS: linux-lts-xenial, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux-aws, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux-aws-hwe, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux-azure, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux-gcp, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux-hwe, Ubuntu:Pro:16.04:LTS: linux-kvm and 155 more

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ravb: Fix use-after-free issue in ravb_tx_timeout_work() The ravb_stop() should call cancel_work_sync(). Otherwise, ravb_tx_timeout_work() is possible to use the freed priv after ravb_remove() was called like below: CPU0 CPU1 ravb_tx_timeout() ravb_remove() unregister_netdev() free_netdev(ndev) // free priv ravb_tx_timeout_work() // use priv unregister_netdev() will call .ndo_stop() so that ravb_stop() is called. And, after phy_stop() is called, netif_carrier_off() is also called. So that .ndo_tx_timeout() will not be called after phy_stop().
