* tomcat: FileUpload: DoS due to accumulation of temporary files on Windows (CVE-2023-42794)
* tomcat: improper cleaning of recycled objects could lead to information leak (CVE-2023-42795)
* tomcat: incorrectly parsed http trailer headers can cause request smuggling (CVE-2023-45648)

For more details about the security issue(s), including the impact, a CVSS score, acknowledgments, and other related information, refer to the CVE page(s) listed in the References section.

BIT-tomcat-2023-45648 — Apache Tomcat: Trailer header parsing too lenient

Affected: Bitnami: tomcat

Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Apache Tomcat.Tomcat from 11.0.0 through 11.0.0, from 10.1.0 through 10.1.13, from 9.0.0 through 9.0.81 and from 8.5.0 through 8.5.93 did not correctly parse HTTP trailer headers. A specially
crafted, invalid trailer header could cause Tomcat to treat a single
request as multiple requests leading to the possibility of request
smuggling when behind a reverse proxy.

Older, EOL versions may also be affected.

Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.0 onwards, 10.1.14 onwards, 9.0.81 onwards or 8.5.94 onwards, which fix the issue.

A use-after-free flaw was found in mm/mempolicy.c in the memory management subsystem in the Linux Kernel. This issue is caused by a race between mbind() and VMA-locked page fault, and may allow a local attacker to crash the system or lead to a kernel information leak. A memory disclosure vulnerability was found in PostgreSQL that allows remote users to access sensitive information by exploiting certain aggregate function calls with 'unknown'-type arguments. Handling 'unknown'-type values from string literals without type designation can disclose bytes, potentially revealing notable and confidential information. This issue exists due to excessive data output in aggregate function calls, enabling remote users to read some portion of system memory. A flaw was found in PostgreSQL that allows authenticated database users to execute arbitrary code through missing overflow checks during SQL array value modification. This issue exists due to an integer overflow during array modification where a remote user can trigger the overflow by providing specially crafted data. This enables the execution of arbitrary code on the target system, allowing users to write arbitrary bytes to memory and extensively read the server's memory.
