Affected: AlmaLinux:8: kernel-rt, AlmaLinux:8: kernel-rt-core, AlmaLinux:8: kernel-rt-debug, AlmaLinux:8: kernel-rt-debug-core, AlmaLinux:8: kernel-rt-debug-devel, AlmaLinux:8: kernel-rt-debug-kvm, AlmaLinux:8: kernel-rt-debug-modules, AlmaLinux:8: kernel-rt-debug-modules-extra, AlmaLinux:8: kernel-rt-devel, AlmaLinux:8: kernel-rt-kvm and 2 more

The kernel-rt packages provide the Real Time Linux Kernel, which enables fine-tuning for systems with extremely high determinism requirements.

Security Fix(es):

* off-path attacker may inject data or terminate victim's TCP session (CVE-2020-36516)
* Race condition in VT_RESIZEX ioctl when vc_cons[i].d is already NULL leading to NULL pointer dereference (CVE-2020-36558)
* use-after-free vulnerability in function sco_sock_sendmsg() (CVE-2021-3640)
* Memory leak for large arguments in video_usercopy function in drivers/media/v4l2-core/v4l2-ioctl.c (CVE-2021-30002)
* smb2_ioctl_query_info NULL Pointer Dereference (CVE-2022-0168)
* NULL pointer dereference in udf_expand_file_adinicbdue() during writeback (CVE-2022-0617)
* swiotlb information leak with DMA_FROM_DEVICE (CVE-2022-0854)
* Uninitialized registers on stack in nft_do_chain can cause kernel pointer leakage to UM (CVE-2022-1016)

* use-after-free in tc_new_tfilter() in net/sched/cls_api.c (CVE-2022-1055)
* use-after-free and memory errors in ext4 when mounting and operating on a corrupted image (CVE-2022-1184)
* NULL pointer dereference in x86_emulate_insn may lead to DoS (CVE-2022-1852)
* buffer overflow in nft_set_desc_concat_parse() (CVE-2022-2078)
* nf_tables cross-table potential use-after-free may lead to local privilege escalation (CVE-2022-2586)

ICSA-23-166-11 — Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 TM MFP Linux Kernel

json-c through 0.14 has an integer overflow and out-of-bounds write via a large JSON file, as demonstrated by printbuf_memappend. A memory overflow vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel’s ipc functionality of the memcg subsystem, in the way a user calls the semget function multiple times, creating semaphores. This flaw allows a local user to starve the resources, causing a denial of service. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. A vulnerability was found in the fs/inode.c:inode_init_owner() function logic of the LInux kernel that allows local users to create files for the XFS file-system with an unintended group ownership and with group execution and SGID permission bits set, in a scenario where a directory is SGID and belongs to a certain group and is writable by a user who is not a member of this group. This can lead to excessive permissions granted in case when they should not. This vulnerability is similar to the previous CVE-2018-13405 and adds the missed fix for the XFS. When sending malicous data to kernel by ioctl cmd FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO,kernel will write memory out of bounds. In gc_data_segment in fs/f2fs/gc.c in the Linux kernel before 5.16.3, special files are not considered, leading to a move_data_page NULL pointer dereference. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. The existing KVM SEV API has a vulnerability that allows a non-root (host) user-level application to crash the host kernel by creating a confidential guest VM inst…

Affected: openEuler:20.03-LTS-SP1: kernel

The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.

Security Fix(es):

Non-transparent sharing of return predictor targets between contexts in some Intel(R) Processors may allow an authorized user to potentially enable information disclosure via local access.(CVE-2022-26373)

A use-after-free flaw was found in route4_change in the net/sched/cls_route.c filter implementation in the Linux kernel. This flaw allows a local, privileged attacker to crash the system, possibly leading to a local privilege escalation issue.(CVE-2022-2588)
