    <title>CVE-2026-4075 — BWL Advanced FAQ Manager Lite &lt;= 1.1.1 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'sbox_id' Shortco…</title>

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p><strong>Affected:</strong> xenioushk BWL Advanced FAQ Manager Lite</p>
<p>The BWL Advanced FAQ Manager Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'baf_sbox' shortcode in all versions up to and including 1.1.1. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied shortcode attributes such as 'sbox_id', 'sbox_class', 'placeholder', 'highlight_color', 'highlight_bg', and 'cont_ext_class'. These attributes are directly interpolated into HTML element attributes without any esc_attr() escaping in the baf_sbox() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.</p></div>
