<p>The parserc_parse function attempts to check for multicharacter strings such as "&lt;![CDATA" or element terminators such as "&gt;" without checking that the offsets are within the buffer.</p>
<p>Truncated strings such as "&lt;a/" can trigger an out-of-bounds read.</p></div>
