Affected: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.2 Advanced Update Support, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.2 Telecommunications Update Service, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.2 Update Services for SAP Solutions, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 Advanced Mission Critical Update Support, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 Telecommunications Update Service, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 Update Services for SAP Solutions, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.6 Extended Update Support, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.0 Extended Update Support, Red Hat Virtualization 4 for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 3 more

A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in vmxnet3_rq_cleanup in drivers/net/vmxnet3/vmxnet3_drv.c in the networking sub-component in vmxnet3 in the Linux Kernel. This issue may allow a local attacker with normal user privilege to cause a denial of service due to a missing sanity check during cleanup.
