<p>Bluetooth: hci_ldisc: Clear HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT on error</p>
<p>When hci_register_dev() fails in hci_uart_register_dev()
HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT is not cleared before calling hu-&gt;proto-&gt;close(hu)
and setting hu-&gt;hdev to NULL. This means incoming UART data will reach
the protocol-specific recv handler in hci_uart_tty_receive() after
resources are freed.</p>
<p>Clear HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT with a write lock before calling
hu-&gt;proto-&gt;close() and setting hu-&gt;hdev to NULL. The write lock ensures
all active readers have completed and no new reader can enter the
protocol recv path before resources are freed.</p>
<p>This allows the protocol-specific recv functions to remove the
"HCI_UART_REGISTERED" guard without risking a null pointer dereference
if hci_register_dev() fails.</p></div>

<p>In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:</p>
<p>thermal: core: Fix thermal zone governor cleanup issues</p>
<p>If thermal_zone_device_register_with_trips() fails after adding
a thermal governor to the thermal zone being registered, the
governor is not removed from it as appropriate which may lead to
a memory leak.</p>
<p>In turn, thermal_zone_device_unregister() calls thermal_set_governor()
without acquiring the thermal zone lock beforehand which may race with
a governor update via sysfs and may lead to a use-after-free in that
case.</p>
<p>Address these issues by adding two thermal_set_governor() calls, one to
thermal_release() to remove the governor from the given thermal zone,
and one to the thermal zone registration error path to cover failures
preceding the thermal zone device registration.(CVE-2026-46021)</p>
<p>In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:</p>
<p>crypto: authencesn - reject short ahash digests during instance creation</p>
<p>authencesn requires either a zero authsize or an authsize of at least
4 bytes because the ESN encrypt/decrypt paths always move 4 bytes of
high-order sequence number data at the end of the authenticated data.</p>
<p>While crypto_authenc_esn_setauthsize() already rejects explicit
non-zero authsizes in the range 1..3, crypto_authenc_esn_create()
still copied auth-&amp;gt;digestsize into inst-&amp;gt;alg.maxauthsize without
