<p>Improper Neutralization of Escape, Meta, or Control Sequences vulnerability in Apache Tomcat.</p>
<p>Tomcat did not escape ANSI escape sequences in log messages. If Tomcat was running in a console on a Windows operating system, and the console supported ANSI escape sequences, it was possible for an attacker to use a specially crafted URL to inject ANSI escape sequences to manipulate the console and the clipboard and attempt to trick an administrator into running an attacker controlled command. While no attack vector was found, it may have been possible to mount this attack on other operating systems.</p>
<p>This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0 through 11.0.10, from 10.1.0 through 10.1.44, from 9.0.40 through 9.0.108.</p>
<p>The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are 
known to be affected: 8.5.60 though 8.5.100. Other, older, EOL versions may also be affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.11 or later, 10.1.45 or later or 9.0.109 or later, which fix the issue.</p></div>

Functions dp_enable_link_phy and dp_disable_link_phy can pass link_res
without initializing hpo_dp_link_enc and it is necessary to check for
null before dereferencing.

This fixes 2 FORWARD_NULL issues reported by Coverity. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:</p>
<p>fs: relax assertions on failure to encode file handles</p>
<p>Encoding file handles is usually performed by a filesystem &gt;encode_fh()
method that may fail for various reasons.</p>
<p>The legacy users of exportfs_encode_fh(), namely, nfsd and
name_to_handle_at(2) syscall are ready to cope with the possibility
of failure to encode a file handle.</p>
<p>There are a few other users of exportfs_encode_{fh,fid}() that
currently have a WARN_ON() assertion when -&gt;encode_fh() fails.
Relax those assertions because they are wrong.</p>
<p>The second linked bug report states commit 16aac5ad1fa9 ("ovl: support
encoding non-decodable file handles") in v6.6 as the regressing commit,
but this is not accurate.</p>
<p>The aforementioned commit only increases the chances of the assertion
and allows triggering the assertion with the reproducer using overlayfs,
inotify and drop_caches.</p>
<p>Triggering this assertion was always possible with other filesystems and
other reasons of -&gt;encode_fh() failures and more particularly, it was

<p>Relative Path Traversal vulnerability in Apache Tomcat.The fix for bug 60013 introduced a regression where the rewritten URL was normalized before it was decoded. This introduced the possibility that, for rewrite rules that rewrite query parameters to the URL, an attacker could manipulate the request URI to bypass security constraints including the protection for /WEB-INF/ and /META-INF/. If PUT requests were also enabled then malicious files could be uploaded leading to remote code execution.
