<p>net: drop bad gso csum_start and offset in virtio_net_hdr</p>
<p>Tighten csum_start and csum_offset checks in virtio_net_hdr_to_skb
for GSO packets.</p>
<p>The function already checks that a checksum requested with
VIRTIO_NET_HDR_F_NEEDS_CSUM is in skb linear. But for GSO packets
this might not hold for segs after segmentation.</p>
<p>Syzkaller demonstrated to reach this warning in skb_checksum_help</p>

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

bna: ensure the copied buf is NUL terminated

Currently, we allocate a nbytes-sized kernel buffer and copy nbytes from
userspace to that buffer. Later, we use sscanf on this buffer but we don&amp;apos;t
ensure that the string is terminated inside the buffer, this can lead to
OOB read when using sscanf. Fix this issue by using memdup_user_nul
instead of memdup_user.(CVE-2024-36934)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
