<p>media: v4l: async: Fix NULL pointer dereference in adding ancillary links</p>
<p>In v4l2_async_create_ancillary_links(), ancillary links are created for
lens and flash sub-devices. These are sub-device to sub-device links and
if the async notifier is related to a V4L2 device, the source sub-device
of the ancillary link is NULL, leading to a NULL pointer dereference.
Check the notifier's sd field is non-NULL in
v4l2_async_create_ancillary_links().</p>

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

bna: ensure the copied buf is NUL terminated

Currently, we allocate a nbytes-sized kernel buffer and copy nbytes from
userspace to that buffer. Later, we use sscanf on this buffer but we don&amp;apos;t
ensure that the string is terminated inside the buffer, this can lead to
OOB read when using sscanf. Fix this issue by using memdup_user_nul
instead of memdup_user.(CVE-2024-36934)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

nilfs2: fix potential kernel bug due to lack of writeback flag waiting
