<p>cifs: fix potential null pointer use in destroy_workqueue in init_cifs error path</p>
<p>Dan Carpenter reported a Smack static checker warning:
   fs/smb/client/cifsfs.c:1981 init_cifs()
   error: we previously assumed 'serverclose_wq' could be null (see line 1895)</p>
<p>The patch which introduced the serverclose workqueue used the wrong
oredering in error paths in init_cifs() for freeing it on errors.</p></div>

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

bna: ensure the copied buf is NUL terminated

Currently, we allocate a nbytes-sized kernel buffer and copy nbytes from
userspace to that buffer. Later, we use sscanf on this buffer but we don&amp;apos;t
ensure that the string is terminated inside the buffer, this can lead to
OOB read when using sscanf. Fix this issue by using memdup_user_nul
instead of memdup_user.(CVE-2024-36934)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

nilfs2: fix potential kernel bug due to lack of writeback flag waiting
