<p>md/dm-raid: don't call md_reap_sync_thread() directly</p>
<p>Currently md_reap_sync_thread() is called from raid_message() directly
without holding 'reconfig_mutex', this is definitely unsafe because
md_reap_sync_thread() can change many fields that is protected by
'reconfig_mutex'.</p>
<p>However, hold 'reconfig_mutex' here is still problematic because this
will cause deadlock, for example, commit 130443d60b1b ("md: refactor
idle/frozen_sync_thread() to fix deadlock").</p>
<p>Fix this problem by using stop_sync_thread() to unregister sync_thread,
like md/raid did.</p></div>

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net: usb: fix possible use-after-free in smsc75xx_bind

The commit 46a8b29c6306 (&amp;quot;net: usb: fix memory leak in smsc75xx_bind&amp;quot;)
fails to clean up the work scheduled in smsc75xx_reset-&amp;gt;
smsc75xx_set_multicast, which leads to use-after-free if the work is
scheduled to start after the deallocation. In addition, this patch
also removes a dangling pointer - dev-&amp;gt;data[0].

This patch calls cancel_work_sync to cancel the scheduled work and set
the dangling pointer to NULL.(CVE-2021-47239)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

RDMA: Verify port when creating flow rule

Validate port value provided by the user and with that remove no longer
needed validation by the driver.  The missing check in the mlx5_ib driver
could cause to the below oops.
