<p>net/usb: kalmia: Don't pass act_len in usb_bulk_msg error path</p>
<p>syzbot reported that act_len in kalmia_send_init_packet() is
uninitialized when passing it to the first usb_bulk_msg error path. Jiri
Pirko noted that it's pointless to pass it in the error path, and that
the value that would be printed in the second error path would be the
value of act_len from the first call to usb_bulk_msg.[1]</p>
<p>With this in mind, let's just not pass act_len to the usb_bulk_msg error
paths.</p>

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net: usb: fix possible use-after-free in smsc75xx_bind

The commit 46a8b29c6306 (&amp;quot;net: usb: fix memory leak in smsc75xx_bind&amp;quot;)
fails to clean up the work scheduled in smsc75xx_reset-&amp;gt;
smsc75xx_set_multicast, which leads to use-after-free if the work is
scheduled to start after the deallocation. In addition, this patch
also removes a dangling pointer - dev-&amp;gt;data[0].

This patch calls cancel_work_sync to cancel the scheduled work and set
the dangling pointer to NULL.(CVE-2021-47239)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

RDMA: Verify port when creating flow rule

Validate port value provided by the user and with that remove no longer
needed validation by the driver.  The missing check in the mlx5_ib driver
could cause to the below oops.
