The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.

Security Fix(es):

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udf: Fix preallocation discarding at indirect extent boundary When preallocation extent is the first one in the extent block, the code would corrupt extent tree header instead. Fix the problem and use udf_delete_aext() for deleting extent to avoid some code duplication.(CVE-2022-48946)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFC: nci: Bounds check struct nfc_target arrays While running under CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE=y, syzkaller reported: memcpy: detected field-spanning write (size 129) of single field "target->sensf_res" at net/nfc/nci/ntf.c:260 (size 18) This appears to be a legitimate lack of bounds checking in nci_add_new_protocol(). Add the missing checks.(CVE-2022-48967)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: amd8111: Fix PCI device reference count leak for_each_pci_dev() is implemented by pci_get_device(). The comment of pci_get_device() says that it will increase the reference count for the returned pci_dev and also decrease the reference count for the input pci_dev @from if it is not NULL. If we break for_each_pci_dev() loop with pdev not NULL, we need to call pci_dev_put() to decrease the reference count. Add the missing pci_dev_put() after the 'out' label. Since pci_dev_put() can handle NULL input parameter, there is no prob…
