      <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:</p>
<p>net: qlogic: qlcnic: Fix a NULL pointer dereference in qlcnic_83xx_add_rings()</p>
<p>In qlcnic_83xx_add_rings(), the indirect function of
ahw-&gt;hw_ops-&gt;alloc_mbx_args will be called to allocate memory for
cmd.req.arg, and there is a dereference of it in qlcnic_83xx_add_rings(),
which could lead to a NULL pointer dereference on failure of the
indirect function like qlcnic_83xx_alloc_mbx_args().</p>
<p>Fix this bug by adding a check of alloc_mbx_args(), this patch
imitates the logic of mbx_cmd()'s failure handling.</p>
<p>This bug was found by a static analyzer. The analysis employs
differential checking to identify inconsistent security operations
(e.g., checks or kfrees) between two code paths and confirms that the
inconsistent operations are not recovered in the current function or
the callers, so they constitute bugs.</p>
<p>Note that, as a bug found by static analysis, it can be a false
positive or hard to trigger. Multiple researchers have cross-reviewed
the bug.</p>
<p>Builds with CONFIG_QLCNIC=m show no new warnings, and our
static analyzer no longer warns about this code.</p></div>

<p>The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.

Security Fix(es):

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net: cdc_eem: fix tx fixup skb leak

when usbnet transmit a skb, eem fixup it in eem_tx_fixup(),
if skb_copy_expand() failed, it return NULL,
usbnet_start_xmit() will have no chance to free original skb.

fix it by free orginal skb in eem_tx_fixup() first,
then check skb clone status, if failed, return NULL to usbnet.(CVE-2021-47236)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

gfs2: Fix use-after-free in gfs2_glock_shrink_scan

The GLF_LRU flag is checked under lru_lock in gfs2_glock_remove_from_lru() to
remove the glock from the lru list in __gfs2_glock_put().

On the shrink scan path, the same flag is cleared under lru_lock but because
of cond_resched_lock(&amp;amp;lru_lock) in gfs2_dispose_glock_lru(), progress on the
put side can be made without deleting the glock from the lru list.

Keep GLF_LRU across the race window opened by cond_resched_lock(&amp;amp;lru_lock) to
ensure correct behavior on both sides - clear GLF_LRU after list_del under
lru_lock.(CVE-2021-47254)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

netrom: Decrease sock refcount when sock timers expire

Commit 63346650c1a9 (&amp;quot;netrom: switch to sock timer API&amp;quot;) switched to use
sock timer API. It replaces mod_timer() by sk_reset_timer(), and
del_timer() by sk_stop_timer().

Function sk_reset_t…</p></div>
