<p>mISDN: fix possible use-after-free in HFC_cleanup()</p>
<p>This module's remove path calls del_timer(). However, that function
does not wait until the timer handler finishes. This means that the
timer handler may still be running after the driver's remove function
has finished, which would result in a use-after-free.</p>
<p>Fix by calling del_timer_sync(), which makes sure the timer handler
has finished, and unable to re-schedule itself.</p></div>

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net: usb: fix possible use-after-free in smsc75xx_bind

The commit 46a8b29c6306 (&amp;quot;net: usb: fix memory leak in smsc75xx_bind&amp;quot;)
fails to clean up the work scheduled in smsc75xx_reset-&amp;gt;
smsc75xx_set_multicast, which leads to use-after-free if the work is
scheduled to start after the deallocation. In addition, this patch
also removes a dangling pointer - dev-&amp;gt;data[0].

This patch calls cancel_work_sync to cancel the scheduled work and set
the dangling pointer to NULL.(CVE-2021-47239)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

RDMA: Verify port when creating flow rule

Validate port value provided by the user and with that remove no longer
needed validation by the driver.  The missing check in the mlx5_ib driver
could cause to the below oops.
