Title
Authenticated Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via feed URL in Stringer
Summary
Stringer is a self-hosted, anti-social RSS reader. Prior to commit 75cb095, an unrestricted Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability allows any authenticated user to force the Stringer server to send arbitrary HTTP/HTTPS requests to internal networks, localhost services, and cloud metadata endpoints (e.g. AWS IMDS 169.254.169.254). When self-service signup is enabled (Setting::UserSignup), even a low-privileged registered user can exploit this to scan internal services or steal cloud IAM credentials. This issue has been patched via commit 75cb095.

Title
SSRF via DNS-resolution gap in _validate_url_security (file download by URL)
Summary
fast-mcp-telegram is a Telegram MCP Server. Prior to version 30.1, the send_message/send_message_to_phone MCP tools accept files as a list of http(s) URLs, which the server downloads and attaches to the outgoing Telegram message. Downloads are guarded by _validate_url_security, an SSRF denylist that checks the URL's literal hostname string but never resolves DNS. The fetch (httpx.AsyncClient.get) does its own resolution at request time. Consequently a hostname that resolves to a loopback / private / link-local address passes the guard and is fetched — even with the secure defaults block_private_ips=True and allow_http_urls=False. Because the fetched body is returned to the attacker as a Telegram file attachment, this is a full-read, exfiltrating SSRF, not blind. This issue has been patched in version 30.1.

Prior to version 30.1, the send_message/send_message_to_phone MCP tools accept files as a list of http(s) URLs, which the server downloads and attaches to the outgoing Telegram message. Downloads are guarded by _validate_url_security, an SSRF denylist that checks the URL\u0027s literal hostname string but never resolves DNS. The fetch (httpx.AsyncClient.get) does its own resolution at request time. Consequently a hostname that resolves to a loopback / private / link-local address passes the guard and is fetched \u2014 even with the secure defaults block_private_ips=True and allow_http_urls=False. Because the fetched body is returned to the attacker as a Telegram file attachment, this is a full-read, exfiltrating SSRF, not blind. This issue has been patched in version 30.1."

CVE-2026-55073 (GCVE-0-2026-55073)

Title
WeasyPrint restrictive URL fetcher bypass allows local file read and SSRF
Summary
WeasyPrint helps web developers to create PDF documents. Prior to 70.0, server-side applications that configure a restrictive url_fetcher and pass attacker-influenced values to HTML.write_pdf() can have the restriction bypassed through the xmp_metadata or stylesheets options. In weasyprint/pdf/init.py, xmp_metadata calls select_source() without the document url_fetcher, allowing an accessible local file to be read and embedded verbatim in the output PDF. In weasyprint/document.py, stylesheets constructs CSS() without the document url_fetcher, allowing local or internal resource loading and propagating the permissive fetcher through nested CSS imports and url() references. The stylesheets channel applies fetched resources but does not by itself disclose stylesheet comments verbatim. This issue is fixed in version 70.0.

Title
NetBox Device Type Library: PR-controllable upstream clone URL (NETBOX_DT_LIBRARY_URL) enables SSRF and test-data substitution from CI
Summary
NetBox Device Type Library is a collection of community-sourced device type definitions for import into NetBox. In the affected repository revisions, NETBOX_DT_LIBRARY_URL in tests/test_configuration.py is a free-form tracked constant that an unauthenticated pull-request author can change before the validation test harness runs. During pytest collection, tests/definitions_test.py passes the value to Repo.clone_from and create_remote("upstream").fetch(), causing blind Git smart-HTTP requests to an attacker-selected host or loading attacker-controlled tests/known-*.json validation caches. The blind request cannot set arbitrary metadata-service headers or return response bodies, and this path does not execute remote Git hooks, but substituted known data can bypass slug, module, and rack uniqueness validation. This vulnerability is fixed in commit 8980c690097e92f5028c7e6df402b327d827ecd5.

Title
Server-side request forgery in Boruta OAuth request_uri and OpenID jwks_uri fetching
Summary
Server-Side Request Forgery vulnerability in malach-it Boruta allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause the OAuth/OpenID authorization server to issue outbound HTTP requests to attacker-chosen URIs, including internal services and cloud metadata endpoints. Three code paths fetch remote URIs supplied by the requester without sufficient validation of the target. Boruta.Oauth.Request.Base.fetch_unsigned_request/1 in lib/boruta/oauth/request/base.ex dereferences the OAuth request_uri parameter from the authorization request via Finch.build(:get, request_uri) |> Finch.request(OpenIDHttpClient). Boruta.Openid.parse_registration_params/2 in lib/boruta/openid.ex dereferences the jwks_uri supplied in an OpenID Connect dynamic client registration request. Boruta.Ecto.Clients.refresh_jwk_from_jwks_uri/1 in lib/boruta/adapters/ecto/clients.ex later refreshes the stored jwks_uri for an existing client. In all three paths the only validation is that the URI parses with a scheme (and one of the two request_uri clauses does not even restrict the scheme to http or https). The implementations do not require HTTPS, do not enforce a host or IP allowlist, do not reject loopback, private, link-local, or other non-public ranges after DNS resolution, do not cap response size, and do not constrain redirects. An attacker can therefore steer the server's HTTP client at arbitrary network targets reachable from the Boruta host. This issue affects boruta: from 2.3.2 before 2.3.7.

Title
Kubeflow Pipelines: Unauthenticated SSRF and HTTP smuggling in Kubeflow Pipelines frontend /_proxy/ route, bypasses ENABLE_AUTHZ=true
Summary
Kubeflow Pipelines enables users to build and deploy portable, scalable machine learning workflows. Prior to 2.17.0, the Kubeflow Pipelines frontend exposes an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability through the /_proxy/ route in frontend/server/proxy-middleware.ts. The _routePathWithReferer() function accepts an arbitrary attacker-controlled HTTP or HTTPS target and passes its origin to createProxyMiddleware without a host allowlist or filtering for loopback, link-local, RFC1918, or cluster-local addresses. The route remains outside the authorization middleware when ENABLE_AUTHZ=true and is reachable through /apis/v1beta1/_proxy/, /apis/v2beta1/_proxy/, /pipeline/apis/v1beta1/_proxy/, and /pipeline/apis/v2beta1/_proxy/, including through a crafted Referer header. Requests can forward attacker-controlled methods, headers such as Authorization, Cookie, and X-Forwarded-For, and POST bodies to reachable internal services, while returning the upstream response to the unauthenticated client. This can expose cloud metadata credentials, Kubernetes or service APIs, and other cluster-internal endpoints to unauthorized read or modification. This issue is fixed in version 2.17.0.

CAPEC-664: Server Side Request Forgery

An adversary exploits improper input validation by submitting maliciously crafted input to a target application running on a server, with the goal of forcing the server to make a request either to itself, to web services running in the server’s internal network, or to external third parties. If successful, the adversary’s request will be made with the server’s privilege level, bypassing its authentication controls. This ultimately allows the adversary to access sensitive data, execute commands on the server’s network, and make external requests with the stolen identity of the server. Server Side Request Forgery attacks differ from Cross Site Request Forgery attacks in that they target the server itself, whereas CSRF attacks exploit an insecure user authentication mechanism to perform unauthorized actions on the user's behalf.
