Title
Junos OS: QFX5000 Series, EX2300, EX3400, EX4100, EX4400 and EX4600: Packet flooding will occur when IGMP traffic is sent to an isolated VLAN
Summary
An Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the Packet Forwarding Engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on QFX5000 Series, EX2300, EX3400, EX4100, EX4400 and EX4600 allows a adjacent attacker to send specific traffic, which leads to packet flooding, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). When a specific IGMP packet is received in an isolated VLAN, it is duplicated to all other ports under the primary VLAN, which causes a flood. This issue affects QFX5000 series, EX2300, EX3400, EX4100, EX4400 and EX4600 platforms only. This issue affects Juniper Junos OS on on QFX5000 Series, EX2300, EX3400, EX4100, EX4400 and EX4600: * All versions prior to 20.4R3-S5; * 21.1 versions prior to 21.1R3-S4; * 21.2 versions prior to 21.2R3-S3; * 21.3 versions prior to 21.3R3-S5; * 21.4 versions prior to 21.4R3-S2; * 22.1 versions prior to 22.1R3; * 22.2 versions prior to 22.2R3; * 22.3 versions prior to 22.3R2.

Title
Calico Typha hangs during unclean TLS handshake
Summary
In certain conditions for Calico Typha (v3.26.2, v3.25.1 and below), and Calico Enterprise Typha (v3.17.1, v3.16.3, v3.15.3 and below), a client TLS handshake can block the Calico Typha server indefinitely, resulting in denial of service. The TLS Handshake() call is performed inside the main server handle for loop without any timeout allowing an unclean TLS handshake to block the main loop indefinitely while other connections will be idle waiting for that handshake to finish.

Title
Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved: The l2cpd will crash when a malformed LLDP packet is received
Summary
An Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the Layer-2 control protocols daemon (l2cpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated adjacent attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS). When a malformed LLDP packet is received, l2cpd will crash and restart. The impact of the l2cpd crash is reinitialization of STP protocols (RSTP, MSTP or VSTP), and MVRP and ERP. Also, if any services depend on LLDP state (like PoE or VoIP device recognition), then these will also be affected. Continued receipt of such packets will lead to a sustained Denial of Service. This issue affects: Juniper Networks Junos OS 21.4 versions prior to 21.4R3-S3; 22.1 versions prior to 22.1R3-S3; 22.2 versions prior to 22.2R2-S1, 22.2R3; 22.3 versions prior to 22.3R2. Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved 21.4-EVO versions prior to 21.4R3-S2-EVO; 22.1-EVO versions prior to 22.1R3-S3-EVO; 22.2-EVO versions prior to 22.2R2-S1-EVO, 22.2R3-EVO; 22.3-EVO versions prior to 22.3R2-EVO.

Title
Junos OS: jdhcpd will hang on receiving a specific DHCP packet
Summary
An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in Juniper DHCP Daemon (jdhcpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows an adjacent, unauthenticated attacker to cause the jdhcpd to consume all the CPU cycles resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). On Junos OS devices with forward-snooped-client configured, if an attacker sends a specific DHCP packet to a non-configured interface, this will cause an infinite loop. The DHCP process will have to be restarted to recover the service. This issue affects: Juniper Networks Junos OS * All versions earlier than 20.4R3-S9; * 21.2 versions earlier than 21.2R3-S7; * 21.3 versions earlier than 21.3R3-S5; * 21.4 versions earlier than 21.4R3-S5; * 22.1 versions earlier than 22.1R3-S4; * 22.2 versions earlier than 22.2R3-S3; * 22.3 versions earlier than 22.3R3-S2; * 22.4 versions earlier than 22.4R2-S2, 22.4R3; * 23.2 versions earlier than 23.2R2.

Title
Junos OS: SRX Series: jbuf memory leak when SSL Proxy and UTM Web-Filtering is applied
Summary
An Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the UTM (Unified Threat Management) Web-Filtering feature of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series causes a jbuf memory leak to occur when accessing certain websites, eventually leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) condition. Service restoration is only possible by rebooting the system. The jbuf memory leak only occurs in SSL Proxy and UTM Web-Filtering configurations. Other products, platforms, and configurations are not affected by this vulnerability. This issue affects Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series: 22.2 versions prior to 22.2R3; 22.3 versions prior to 22.3R2-S1, 22.3R3; 22.4 versions prior to 22.4R1-S2, 22.4R2. This issue does not affect Juniper Networks Junos OS versions prior to 22.2R2.

Title
Vitess VTAdmin users that can create shards can deny access to other functions
Summary
Vitess is a database clustering system for horizontal scaling of MySQL through generalized sharding. Prior to version 16.0.2, users can either intentionally or inadvertently create a shard containing `/` characters from VTAdmin such that from that point on, anyone who tries to create a new shard from VTAdmin will receive an error. Attempting to view the keyspace(s) will also no longer work. Creating a shard using `vtctldclient` does not have the same problem because the CLI validates the input correctly. Version 16.0.2, corresponding to version 0.16.2 of the `go` module, contains a patch for this issue. Some workarounds are available. Always use `vtctldclient` to create shards, instead of using VTAdmin; disable creating shards from VTAdmin using RBAC; and/or delete the topology record for the offending shard using the client for your topology server.

CVE-2023-29194 (GCVE-0-2023-29194)

Title
vitess allows users to create keyspaces that can deny access to already existing keyspaces
Summary
Vitess is a database clustering system for horizontal scaling of MySQL. Users can either intentionally or inadvertently create a keyspace containing `/` characters such that from that point on, anyone who tries to view keyspaces from VTAdmin will receive an error. Trying to list all the keyspaces using `vtctldclient GetKeyspaces` will also return an error. Note that all other keyspaces can still be administered using the CLI (vtctldclient). This issue is fixed in version 16.0.1. As a workaround, delete the offending keyspace using a CLI client (vtctldclient).

Title
Junos OS: JRR200: Kernel crash upon receipt of a specific packet
Summary
An Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in packet processing on the network interfaces of Juniper Networks Junos OS on JRR200 route reflector appliances allows an adjacent, network-based attacker sending a specific packet to the device to cause a kernel crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). Continued receipt and processing of this packet will create a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) condition. This issue can only be triggered by an attacker on the local broadcast domain. Packets routed to the device are unable to trigger this crash. This issue affects Juniper Networks Junos OS on JRR200: All versions prior to 21.2R3-S4; 21.3 versions prior to 21.3R3-S4; 21.4 versions prior to 21.4R3-S3; 22.1 versions prior to 22.1R3-S1; 22.2 versions prior to 22.2R2-S2, 22.2R3; 22.3 versions prior to 22.3R1-S2, 22.3R2; 22.4 versions prior to 22.4R1-S1, 22.4R2.

Title
Junos OS: QFX10002: Failure of storm control feature may lead to Denial of Service
Summary
An Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions within the storm control feature of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows an attacker sending a high rate of traffic to cause a Denial of Service. Continued receipt and processing of these packets will create a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) condition. Storm control monitors the level of applicable incoming traffic and compares it with the level specified. If the combined level of the applicable traffic exceeds the specified level, the switch drops packets for the controlled traffic types. This issue affects Juniper Networks Junos OS on QFX10002: All versions prior to 19.3R3-S7; 19.4 versions prior to 19.4R3-S11; 20.2 versions prior to 20.2R3-S6; 20.4 versions prior to 20.4R3-S5; 21.1 versions prior to 21.1R3-S4; 21.2 versions prior to 21.2R3-S3; 21.3 versions prior to 21.3R3; 21.4 versions prior to 21.4R2.

"value": "An Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions within the storm control feature of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows an attacker sending a high rate of traffic to cause a Denial of Service.
