Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-07-28 18:33 – Updated: 2026-07-28 18:33Let's Chat 0.4.0 through 0.4.8 contains a null dereference vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to crash the server by supplying a valid 24-character hex string room parameter that matches no document in the database. Attackers can send a crafted GET /messages request causing an uncaught TypeError in an asynchronous Mongoose callback that terminates the Node.js server process, with the same defect reachable through multiple code paths including the socket.io interface.

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2023-03-24 21:58 – Updated: 2023-03-27 21:27Impact
When the parameter summarize of tf.raw_ops.Print is zero, the new method SummarizeArray<bool> will reference to a nullptr, leading to a seg fault.
import tensorflow as tf
tf.raw_ops.Print(input = tf.constant([1, 1, 1, 1],dtype=tf.int32),
data = [[False, False, False, False], [False], [False, False, False]],
message = 'tmp/I',
first_n = 100,
summarize = 0)
Patches
We have patched the issue in GitHub commit 6d423b8bcc9aa9f5554dc988c1c16d038b508df1.
The fix will be included in TensorFlow 2.12. We will also cherrypick this commit on TensorFlow 2.11.1.

GHSA-QM87-7CR9-FF26
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2025-06-18 12:30 – Updated: 2025-11-21 00:30In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dmaengine: sf-pdma: Add multithread support for a DMA channel
When we get a DMA channel and try to use it in multiple threads it will cause oops and hanging the system.
% echo 64 > /sys/module/dmatest/parameters/threads_per_chan % echo 10000 > /sys/module/dmatest/parameters/iterations % echo 1 > /sys/module/dmatest/parameters/run [ 89.480664] Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000000000000a0 [ 89.488725] Oops [#1] [ 89.494708] CPU: 2 PID: 1008 Comm: dma0chan0-copy0 Not tainted 5.17.0-rc5 [ 89.509385] epc : vchan_find_desc+0x32/0x46 [ 89.513553] ra : sf_pdma_tx_status+0xca/0xd6
This happens because of data race. Each thread rewrite channels's descriptor as soon as device_prep_dma_memcpy() is called. It leads to the situation when the driver thinks that it uses right descriptor that actually is freed or substituted for other one.
With current fixes a descriptor changes its value only when it has been used. A new descriptor is acquired from vc->desc_issued queue that is already filled with descriptors that are ready to be sent. Threads have no direct access to DMA channel descriptor. Now it is just possible to queue a descriptor for further processing.

GHSA-QM9X-FRX6-XCV6
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-06-03 18:33 – Updated: 2026-06-09 21:32In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
pinctrl: canaan: k230: Fix NULL pointer dereference when parsing devicetree
When probing the k230 pinctrl driver, the kernel triggers a NULL pointer dereference. The crash trace showed: [ 0.732084] Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000068 [ 0.740737] ... [ 0.776296] epc : k230_pinctrl_probe+0x1be/0x4fc
In k230_pinctrl_parse_functions(), we attempt to retrieve the device pointer via info->pctl_dev->dev, but info->pctl_dev is only initialized after k230_pinctrl_parse_dt() completes.
At the time of DT parsing, info->pctl_dev is still NULL, leading to the invalid dereference of info->pctl_dev->dev.
Use the already available device pointer from platform_device instead of accessing through uninitialized pctl_dev.

"details": "In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:\n\npinctrl: canaan: k230: Fix NULL pointer dereference when parsing devicetree\n\nWhen probing the k230 pinctrl driver, the kernel triggers a NULL pointer\ndereference. The crash trace showed:\n[ 0.732084] Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000068\n[ 0.740737] ...\n[ 0.776296] epc : k230_pinctrl_probe+0x1be/0x4fc\n\nIn k230_pinctrl_parse_functions(), we attempt to retrieve the device\npointer via info-\u003epctl_dev-\u003edev, but info-\u003epctl_dev is only initialized\nafter k230_pinctrl_parse_dt() completes.\n\nAt the time of DT parsing, info-\u003epctl_dev is still NULL, leading to\nthe invalid dereference of info-\u003epctl_dev-\u003edev.\n\nUse the already available device pointer from platform_device\ninstead of accessing through uninitialized pctl_dev.",

GHSA-QMHV-3RQ4-CPJP
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2022-03-17 00:00 – Updated: 2022-03-17 00:00Adobe Bridge version 11.1.1 (and earlier) is affected by a Null pointer dereference vulnerability when parsing a specially crafted file. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to achieve an application denial-of-service in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

Mitigation MIT-56
For any pointers that could have been modified or provided from a function that can return NULL, check the pointer for NULL before use. When working with a multithreaded or otherwise asynchronous environment, ensure that proper locking APIs are used to lock before the check, and unlock when it has finished [REF-1484].
Mitigation
Select a programming language that is not susceptible to these issues.
Mitigation
Check the results of all functions that return a value and verify that the value is non-null before acting upon it.
Mitigation
Identify all variables and data stores that receive information from external sources, and apply input validation to make sure that they are only initialized to expected values.
Mitigation
Explicitly initialize all variables and other data stores, either during declaration or just before the first usage.
No CAPEC attack patterns related to this CWE.
