Discord audio preflight transcription before member authorization
Current Maintainer Triage
- Status: narrow
- Normalized severity: medium
- Assessment: v2026.3.28 still runs Discord audio preflight before member allowlist rejection, but this is the same pre-auth resource-consumption class and not the high-severity auth-bypass framing in the draft.

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-04-03 02:54 – Updated: 2026-05-06 02:40Summary

GHSA-QHH7-J7W3-XFXQ
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-07-22 15:31 – Updated: 2026-07-22 15:31The issue is a resource exhaustion vulnerability associated with DNSSEC validation. BIND always validates all RRSIG records in an answer, even if they are not strictly needed. A query to an authoritative server/zone which returns many valid but superfluous RRSIG records causes the validator to waste disproportionate CPU time. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.20.0 through 9.20.24, 9.21.0 through 9.21.23, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.24-S1.

GHSA-QQ3J-44GW-CF6R
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2022-07-30 00:00 – Updated: 2022-08-10 15:41In Eclipse Californium versions 2.0.0 to 2.7.2 and 3.0.0-3.5.0 a DTLS resumption handshake falls back to a DTLS full handshake on a parameter mismatch without using a HelloVerifyRequest. Especially, if used with certificate based cipher suites, that results in message amplification (DDoS other peers) and high CPU load (DoS own peer). The misbehavior occurs only with DTLS_VERIFY_PEERS_ON_RESUMPTION_THRESHOLD values larger than 0.
