Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-07-01 12:31 – Updated: 2026-07-01 12:31The LatePoint – Calendar Booking Plugin for Appointments and Events plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation to Administrator in versions up to, and including, 5.6.3 This is due to an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) in the create_or_update() function of OsOrdersController, which allows an authenticated Agent to supply an arbitrary order[customer_id] and overwrite any LatePoint customer's email field (including one linked to a WordPress Administrator's account) through the public-scope customer set_data() call, combined with a missing role verification in OsAuthHelper::authorize_customer() which logs in the linked WordPress user without checking its role. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom (Agent)-level access and above, to elevate their privileges to Administrator.

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-07-16 09:32 – Updated: 2026-07-16 09:32The Digits: WordPress Mobile Number Signup and Login plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.0.5. GHSA-C23H-WJW2-XVWF
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-01-15 18:31 – Updated: 2026-04-14 15:30A local information disclosure vulnerability exists in the Ludashi driver before 5.1025 due to a lack of access control in the IOCTL handler. This driver exposes a device interface accessible to a normal user and handles attacker-controlled structures containing the lower 4GB of physical addresses. The handler maps arbitrary physical memory via MmMapIoSpace and copies data back to user mode without verifying the caller's privileges or the target address range. This allows unprivileged users to read arbitrary physical memory, potentially exposing kernel data structures, kernel pointers, security tokens, and other sensitive information. This vulnerability can be further exploited to bypass the Kernel Address Space Layout Rules (KASLR) and achieve local privilege escalation.

Mitigation MIT-1
Very carefully manage the setting, management, and handling of privileges. Explicitly manage trust zones in the software.
Mitigation MIT-48
Strategy: Separation of Privilege
Follow the principle of least privilege when assigning access rights to entities in a software system.
Mitigation MIT-49
Strategy: Separation of Privilege
Consider following the principle of separation of privilege. Require multiple conditions to be met before permitting access to a system resource.
CAPEC-122: Privilege Abuse
An adversary is able to exploit features of the target that should be reserved for privileged users or administrators but are exposed to use by lower or non-privileged accounts. Access to sensitive information and functionality must be controlled to ensure that only authorized users are able to access these resources.
CAPEC-233: Privilege Escalation
An adversary exploits a weakness enabling them to elevate their privilege and perform an action that they are not supposed to be authorized to perform.
CAPEC-58: Restful Privilege Elevation
An adversary identifies a Rest HTTP (Get, Put, Delete) style permission method allowing them to perform various malicious actions upon server data due to lack of access control mechanisms implemented within the application service accepting HTTP messages.
