GHSA-HPPC-G8H3-XHP3
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-04-22 21:00 – Updated: 2026-04-27 16:29The FFI trampolines behind SslContextBuilder::set_psk_client_callback, set_psk_server_callback, set_cookie_generate_cb, and set_stateless_cookie_generate_cb forwarded the user closure's returned usize directly to OpenSSL without checking it against the &mut [u8] that was handed to the closure. This can lead to buffer overflows and other unintended consequences.

GHSA-JWQV-5V5P-9H8M
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2023-04-18 00:32 – Updated: 2024-04-04 03:31An Improper Handling of Length Parameter Inconsistency vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a network based, unauthenticated attacker to cause an RPD crash leading to a Denial of Service (DoS). Continued receipt and processing of this packet will create a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) condition. Upon receipt of a malformed BGP flowspec update, RPD will crash resulting in a Denial of Service. This issue affects Juniper Networks Junos OS: All versions prior to 18.1R3-S11; 18.2 versions prior to 18.2R3-S6; 18.3 versions prior to 18.3R3-S4; 18.4 versions prior to 18.4R3-S6; 19.1 versions prior to 19.1R3-S4; 19.2 versions prior to 19.2R3-S1; 19.3 versions prior to 19.3R3-S1; 19.4 versions prior to 19.4R3; 20.1 versions prior to 20.1R2; 20.2 versions prior to 20.2R2; 20.3 versions prior to 20.3R1-S1, 20.3R2; Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved: All versions prior to 20.1R3-EVO; 20.2 versions prior to 20.2R2-EVO; 20.3 versions prior to 20.3R2-EVO;

GHSA-MHVP-2G8X-V832
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2025-05-27 18:30 – Updated: 2025-06-02 18:30NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit for all platforms contains a vulnerability in the cuobjdump binary, where a failure to check the length of a buffer could allow a user to cause the tool to crash or execute arbitrary code by passing in a malformed ELF file. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to arbitrary code execution.

GHSA-MPJ3-4VV5-G8QC
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2022-05-24 17:28 – Updated: 2023-12-12 21:31Patient Information Center iX (PICiX) Versions B.02, C.02, C.03, PerformanceBridge Focal Point Version A.01, IntelliVue patient monitors MX100, MX400-MX850, and MP2-MP90 Versions N and prior, IntelliVue X3 and X2 Versions N and prior. The software parses a formatted message or structure but does not handle or incorrectly handles a length field that is inconsistent with the actual length of the associated data, causing the application on the surveillance station to restart.

Mitigation
When processing structured incoming data containing a size field followed by raw data, ensure that you identify and resolve any inconsistencies between the size field and the actual size of the data.
Mitigation
Do not let the user control the size of the buffer.
Mitigation
Validate that the length of the user-supplied data is consistent with the buffer size.
CAPEC-47: Buffer Overflow via Parameter Expansion
In this attack, the target software is given input that the adversary knows will be modified and expanded in size during processing. This attack relies on the target software failing to anticipate that the expanded data may exceed some internal limit, thereby creating a buffer overflow.
